Feature Descriptions

Standard Body: A local elected government body that serves a population over 5,000 or a student body over 1,000.
Custom Body: A government body that doesn’t fit the Standard Body definition (e.g., an appointed planning committee).
Search All Governments: Search across every government in SeeGov's database, not just the bodies in your coverage area. Included on Regional and Enterprise; available as an add-on for Local.
Content-Based Alerts: A "saved search" tool. Define a keyword, topic, government, and/or speaker and receive an email alert whenever it appears in a new meeting in your coverage area.
Tip Sheets: A proactive alert system that flags objective, newsworthy anomalies in your coverage area (e.g., "A council vote went against a committee recommendation" or "Public comment on this topic was 3x longer than average").
Cross-Market Intelligence: A proactive analytics dashboard that surfaces trends and comparisons across all of an organization's markets, allowing you to spot systemic issues and compare policy responses (e.g., "Housing bonds were discussed in 12 of your 30 markets this week").
SeeGov Assistant: A conversational AI research tool, pre-configured with your coverage area's complete data set. It synthesizes information across all ingested transcripts, agendas, budgets, and other public data. Use it as a research partner to find patterns, summarize complex topics, and surface connections instantly (e.g., "Find all mentions of 'Project X' in the last 6 months, summarize the arguments from the ingested board packets, and find the line item for it in the published city budget PDF").

Limitations

* The Civic Partner program fee waiver is limited to independent newsrooms and is not available to subsidiaries of a Parent Organization. Videos must be published to the SeeGov public feed to qualify.

** SeeGov Assistant usage is monitored for reasonable journalistic use; rate limits may apply.

All plans include reasonable video bandwidth. SeeGov reserves the right to work with customers on alternative hosting solutions if usage consistently exceeds typical patterns.
